Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective 10 August 2026Last updated 10 August 2026

How paying, cancelling and getting money back works while billing is still handled by hand.

1How billing works today

Billing is manual. A Stripe integration exists in the codebase but it is switched off, the payment webhook is disabled, and neither the bot nor the website collects card details.

Plans are granted per server by the operator once payment has been arranged directly. If anyone asks you for card details inside Discord while claiming to be Mamori, it is not us. Report it by opening a ticket in the support server.

2What you are paying for

Plans are monthly and cover one server, except the Network plan which covers up to ten. Prices are in US dollars and are listed on the pricing page: Free at 0, Starter at 5, Pro at 15 and Network at 40 per month.

A plan buys a fixed monthly allowance of AI answers plus knowledge base capacity. Unused allowance does not roll over into the next month.

3Renewals

A paid plan runs for the month it was granted for. Because billing is manual, nothing renews automatically and nothing is charged without you arranging it first.

We will tell you in your server before a plan is due to lapse.

4Cancelling

Open a ticket in the support server and say which server you are cancelling. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period.

The plan runs to the end of the month you paid for, then the server drops back to Free. AI answers stop at that point. Knowledge base content stays where it is until you wipe it or ask us to delete it.

5Refunds

We do not refund part of a month because a server stopped using the bot partway through, and we do not refund a month because a server used less of its allowance than expected.

We refund in full where we charged you in error, charged you twice, or failed to grant the plan you paid for.

We will consider a refund where the service was unavailable for an extended period through our fault. Outages at Discord or Cloudflare are not refundable, though we will always tell you what happened.

Nothing in this section removes a refund you are entitled to by law.

6Your statutory rights

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area you may have a 14 day right to cancel a distance contract. Where you ask for the service to start immediately, that right can be reduced or lost once the service has been supplied.

If you are a business customer, the 14 day right does not apply.

7How to ask for a refund

Open a ticket in the support server within 30 days of the payment. Include the server id, the date and amount paid, and what went wrong.

We reply within 5 working days. An approved refund goes back by the same route the payment arrived, normally within 10 working days.

8Chargebacks

Talk to us before raising a chargeback. A chargeback raised without contacting us first will normally end with the plan being removed and the server suspended while it is resolved.

9When card payments go live

If we switch card payments on, this page will be rewritten before the first charge and the Subprocessors page will list Stripe as active rather than dormant.

Automatic renewal, self-serve cancellation and any proration rules will be described here before they exist, not after.
